Benefis and other organizations hosting a free health insurance enrollment event

GREAT FALLS -

November 1st open enrollment begins for Americans looking for health insurance and Benefis and several other organizations will be hosting a free health insurance enrollment event

The open enrollment for marketplace health insurance will start this year on November first and go until December 15. The enrollment period is only open for 6 weeks this year compared to last year's 12 weeks.
Tina Bundtrock said they want to make sure people in cascade county are aware and prepared for these changes.

The first open enrollment event will be held November 4th at the YMCA in Great Falls from 10 a.m. til 2 p.m.

    An 18-year-old Darby man is in custody after allegations related to a school shooting threat. Ravalli County Sheriff Steve Holton says Maclean William Kayser, 18, is booked on charges of assault with a weapon.

    The Flathead County Sheriff's Office has released the name of the backcountry skier who went missing on Whitefish Mountain over the weekend. Dr. Jonathan Scott Torgerson, 62, of Columbia Falls, was reported missing on Saturday, Feb. 17 at 7:15 PM.
