Special Olympics Montana is teaming up with Voya Financial for a social media campaign to raise money for Special Olympics athletes.
According to the media advisory from Voya Financial, the Invest in Something Special campaign highlights the goals and dreams of Special Olympics athletes across the country. Voya has pledged to donate $1 per like, comment, and share of #InvestInSomethingSpecial posts up to $500,000. The donation would be shared among Special Olympics Programs.
The advisory explains Special Olympics Montana (SOMT) is a state-wide non-profit organization that provides year-round training, athletic competition, and health-related programming for individuals with intellectual disabilities. The organization has approximately 2,000 athletes registered in 121 programs from all around Montana.
The campaign began Monday, November 13th and runs through November 19th on social media.
