Great Falls has several places to drop off your old Christmas tree

Now that Christmas is over, wait before you throw out your live tree. Starting Tuesday through January 9th the City of Great Falls has several drop-off locations to leave live trees for recycling.
They do ask before you drop off your tree to make sure to remove all lights, decorations, and tree stands. 
Here is a full list of drop-off location:

Meadowlark Park – Fox Farm and Park Garden Road

Snyder Drug parking lot – 2500 6th Ave. N

2J’s Market – 105 Smelter Avenue NE

Malmstrom AFB – 110 South Perimeter Parking Lot

    According to Montana Highway Patrol, a 20-year-old Missoula man is dead after crashing his motorcycle just after 8:00 pm Friday. The accident happened on US Highway 93 southbound near Lolo. According to troopers, the driver failed to negotiate his Harley Davidson at a lefthand curve, and struck the concrete barrier.

    An early morning stabbing Friday sent one man to the hospital with several stab wounds. According to the Helena Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 2100 block of 11th Avenue just after 1:30am.  A press release states there was a physical altercation involving several people, with one man being stabbed several times with a knife.  Everyone involved has been identified; no arrests have yet been made. The investigation is ongoing.
