Pet of the week: Jinx

Posted: Updated:

This week KFBB is featuring Jinx as our Pet of the Week. She's available for adoption right now at the Maclean Animal Adoption Center (MAAC) in Great Falls.

Jinx is a 6-year-old cat who is shy, very sweet and is missing some parts which make her unique.

So she does like to hide at first but then once she feels more comfortable she will come out. and she is declawed on all four of her feet, so she would not do best outside, says Erin Doran

Besides missing all of her claws, she is also missing a tail, but Doran says she sure acts like she still has one.  The adoption center says because of her shyness she
d go best in a quiet home with no dogs, but she would do well with other cats.

She is kind of a shy and timid cat so she would do best in a house that is a little more relaxed and quiet, says Doran

If you
re interested in adopting jinx you can head over to the adoption center at 900 25th avenue northeast or you can call the center at 406-727 pets.

Montana is facing a major overcrowding issue in animal shelters across the state.  With every shelter at max capacity, if not more, animal shelters are forced to make room wherever possible. The main culprits of the overcrowding are cats, however, dogs are also part of the equation.
