Playing at a collegiate level has always been Addison Gardner's dream.
On April 18th, she made that dream a reality when she signed with MSU-Billings.
The 5'9" guard made the all-state team both her junior and senior year while racking up the stat sheet. Through her career as a Rustler, Gardner hooped 933 points (11.1ppg) and and racked up 238 rebounds (2.8/game).
Addison joins other Great Falls natives - CMR alum Taylor Edwards (senior) and Great Falls High alum Hannah Collins (sophomore) in billings.
All around, becoming a Yellowjacket was the best decision for Gardner.
"I've decided that academically - it's better with the smaller classes for me," she explained. "Basketball-wise, I've learned that their team is family and the atmosphere is really great so I'm excited."
"She has the work ethic to be a college player. I don't think that a lot of people realize how hard it is to be a college basketball player," head coach Brian Crosby added. "She was here at 6:30 this morning getting shots up. I think that's a special thing and I think that's something that will translate. She's gonna be a good one."
