Pet of the week: Skeet

Posted: Updated:

This week KFBB is featuring Skeet as our Pet of the Week. She's available for adoption right now at the Maclean Animal Adoption Center (MAAC) in Great Falls

Skeet is a 10-year-old cat who has beautiful coloration, a great personality, and a cat who has been at the center for far too long.

“She is a great lover. You probably can't pick it up on your mic right now but I can feel her purring in my hand, and we are just hanging out here,” said Tom Hazen.

Although she is quite the lover, the adoption center says she is a stereotypical cat and does it on her own time.

“She can get a little aloof from time to time but she’s a wonderful cat and when she decides to open up to you as you can see like right now she’s a great cat to hang out with,” said Hazen.

When it comes to other animals however it can be hit or miss with Skeet.

“She doesn’t really like dogs too much. She isn’t going to be that cat that enjoys going into a household with a puppy. And she can be a little antisocial when it comes to other cats,” said Hazen.

the adoption center does say she could get along with another cat, but it is a case by case scenario.

If you are interested in adopting Skeet you can head over to the adoption center at 900 25th avenue northeast or you can call the center at 406 727 PETS.

GREAT FALLS- Over the next few weeks, your children will be packing up their book bags and getting on the school bus. That means checking off everything on their supplies list, including some of the hot ticket items this year. According to our friends over at Target, this year there seems to be a theme of superheroes and sequins. Brandy Ward, the Senior Team Leader at Target, said they have sold a lot of Minecraft bookbags, Shopkins supplies, holograph notebooks, and locker chandelie...
