Helena's Kamden Hilborn Commits to Cats

Posted: Updated:

Helena High student-athlete Kamden Hilborn is headed to Bozeman to play women's basketball for the Montana State Bobcats.

Hilborn was a three-time All-State point guard for the Lady Bengals and led them to each of the last two AA state titles while earning 2017 tournament MVP and 2018 co-MVP honors. She led the state with 5.5 assists per game and set a school record with 99 steals this past season. "Kam" lost count of how many offers she got but is excited to compete on the court for the Cats.

"I had some really amazing opportunities that came my way and I just had to figure out what was best for me and what would be best for my future and what I would happiest doing and I decided that basketball is my love and basketball is one of my dreams and so I decided that if I'm going to play basketball I want to be a Cat and I want to play for the Cats. I really think that basketball is the right choice and I'm really excited about it," said Kamden Hilborn.
