There has not been a single track & field meet in Great Falls this school year due to adverse weather conditions, but that is likely to change.
The track at Memorial Stadium will be dedicated May 8 according to a source within Great Falls Public Schools.
Crews waited to paint the lines and put down the final layer of the surface. Now, athletes just have to wait for those pieces to dry before hitting the new track.
The first potential meet would follow the dedication on Tuesday. It would be a crosstown clash between Great Falls High and C.M. Russell High School at 4 p.m.
