Great Falls Police Detective Corey Reeves named as Slaughter's Undersheriff Pick

Cascade County Sheriff Candidate Jesse Slaughter has named Great Falls Police Detective Cory Reeves as his Undersheriff. 

The announcement was made Wednesday evening at the Meadowlark Country Club. In a press release from Slaughter's Communications Director, Adrienne Ehrke, Reeves grew up in Great Falls and is a graduate of Great Falls High. He also earned his bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Great Falls. 

Reeves has been in law enforcement for 20 years, and has served with the Lewistown Police Department and Great Falls Police Department, where he is currently assigned as a school resource officer at GFHS. In 2004, Reeves revitalized the Great Falls Neighborhood Watch program, creating 87 new watch groups for the community.

    The Helena police department is investigating after two bodies were discovered inside a home along Hannaford Street. According to Lieutenant Jayson Zander, police were called to the scene around 10 a.m. Monday. When they arrived, they found the bodies of a man and a woman.
