GREAT FALLS -

Emerson Fourhorns is accused of stabbing his brother twice after a drunken argument early Thursday morning.

Court documents state Great Falls Police Officers responded to a home on Chowen Springs Loop where they found a man in the kitchen bleeding from his chest and they were told the suspect had already fled the scene on foot.

The victim told GFPD his brother, Emerson Fourhorns, had stabbed him twice with a kitchen knife, once in the chest and once in his shoulder. Officers then spoke to a female witness who said the two men were drinking and arguing when Fourhorns grabbed a large kitchen knife. The witness claims he stabbed the victim and then threatened her with the same knife. The witness was standing between Fourhorns and the victim when Fourhorns said, "I don't give a f***, I'll kill you and this b****."

Another witness told officers Fourhorns grabbed the knife, waved it around yelling, and heard him threaten to kill both the victim and the other witness.

Fourhorns was arrested and located in the area. He did not deny the assaults, but commented something to the effect of "Do you really think these will stick? My brother won't cooperate."

Fourhorns has prior convictions for Assault with a Weapon (2005), Robbery (2010), and Tampering with Witnesses (2012). He is now charged with two counts of Assault with a Weapon and two counts of Partner or Family Member Assault. The State has requested his bond be set in the amount of $100,000.
