Flood warnings in place

Posted: Updated:

Flooding still a major concern  across the Treasure State.
As storms make their way across Montana, the National Weather Service is on alert.
Wednesday, they upgraded several areas to flood warnings, including the Sun River.
NWS Meteorologist Roger Martin said anyone who lives along the Sun River, from the mountains to Fort Shaw, must to keep a close eye on the water level.
However, homes along smaller creeks also need to be monitored.
He added rain could be falling in the mountains, but it can actually take up to a day for the water level to change downstream.
