Great Falls is on fire as the Special Olympics Flame of Hope lit up the Four Seasons Arena for the opening ceremonies on Wednesday.
More than 900 athletes gathered together to compete in 11 different events over the next 3 days.
Athletes ages 8-77 are ready to show they have what it takes, and this year's theme was to rise above the roar.
"It means that you're going to have to roar for the lions," said Nelly Brevik.
"It means that you're working for something so hard that you finally finish it and show everyone that you can do stuff," added Zach Ronich.
The Special Olympics will run until Friday.
