Great Falls man wins brand new truck

Dale Frost will become the proud owner of a 2018 Chevy Silverado Pickup this Wednesday after he won the Special Olympics Montana 24th Annual Chevy Raffle.  The following is a press release from SOMT - Congrats to all the winners!

GREAT FALLS, MT – On Wednesday, May 30, Dale Frost of Great Falls, MT will be awarded Special Olympics Montana’s 24th Annual Chevy Raffle grand prize -  a brand new 2018 Chevy Silverado Pickup (valued at $39,094.64).  The award ceremony will take place at City Motors in Great Falls at 3:00 pm.  The official ticket drawing took place at City Motors in Great Falls on May 19, 2018.

This year Special Olympics Montana sold 101,659 tickets and raising over $523,843.62. The success of the raffle is attributed to our dedicated volunteers, athletes, and sponsors who diligently sold tickets in support of our mission. Special Olympics is also proud to announce that athlete Jon Hargett of Great Falls, MT was the top ticket seller. Jon sold 1,430 tickets and is invited to give few words during the ceremony.

In addition to the grand prize, several other prizes were awarded. Below is a list of the prizes and winners:

    MALMSTROM AFB - Lieutenant Colonel Raymond Fortner, the commander of the 741st Missile Security Forces Squadron, has been relieved of duty.  According to a press release from MAFB Public Affairs, Colonel Aaron Guill relieved Fortner due to,  "loss of trust and confidence after a series of events."   Complaints had been filed with the 341st Missile Wing Inspector General, which is what initiated an investigation.  It concluded several of those complaints ...

    Less than a month ago, 25-year-old Allen Roberts was arrested on 18 charges after crashing into a Pita Pit in Great Falls on 10th Ave. S.  What originally was supposed to take a week turned into several as store manager Christine Rattlingtail repaired severe damages and revamped the store.  Today, the Pita Pit is finally RE-opening their doors with a newly renovated interior.  Robert's arraignment is scheduled for Thursday, November 15th, at 2 pm.
