Arvin Gallagher Jr. faces multiple charges after leading police on a foot chase near the 1st Ave N bridge and Gibson Park on May 29th.
Great Falls Police says this started out as a male-female disturbance on the 1st Ave N bridge.
When police arrived on scene Gallagher fled on foot through Gibson Park. A bystander witnessed Gallagher throw something into the bushes as he ran past her.
Police said they were able to find and apprehend Gallagher on the 400 block of Park Drive North.
According to GFPD, he did do damage 750 dollars in damage to a patrol vehicle from kicking the door once he was put inside
He faces charges of criminal possession of dangerous drugs, criminal mischief, obstructing a peace officer, and tampering with/fabricating physical evidence. All are misdemeanors.
The state requests his bond at $20,000 dollars.
