Posted: Updated:
BILLINGS, Mont. -

UPDATE: According to Superintendent Terry Bouck, during a school board meeting Monday, June 25th, the school board voted in favor of terminating Mr. Kanvick's employment with the district.

UPDATE: A special called meeting scheduled for Tuesday morning to discuss Superintendent Terry Bouck's recommendation to terminate Glenn Kanvick has been canceled.

The notice was posted to the agenda item on the school boards website. No reason for the meeting cancellation was given.

KULR-8 is working to determine if the school system plans to reschedule the meeting or whether or not the Superintendent has decided to withdraw the recommendation.

A tenured teacher in Billings will be recommended for termination in a school board meeting Tuesday.

In a letter to the Billings Public Schools Board of Trustees, Superintendent Terry Bouck recommends the termination of Glenn Kanvick, a former driver's ed instructor and "roving substitute" teacher in the district. In the letter, Bouck says the recommendation comes after an investigation into accusations of inappropriate behavior toward multiple students.

Attached is the recommendation letter of termination:
