The 57th Annual Montana 500 Endurance Run for Model T's is starting up today as drivers from across the country gear up for the race in Shelby.

The Montana 500 is a timed event, which is unique to the United States as Montana is one of the last places to allow timed events on public roads. The Model T's in this event must be stock, except they can have aluminum pistons, reground cams, and the heads and blocks may be milled. Over the next three days of racing, the vehicles will travel more than 500 miles on public roads around Shelby vying to be the fastest in the group.
