In addition to the Queen and Capital City, Helena has earned new title. Because efforts in a recent food drive, Helena is now being called the most generous small city in the nation.
Helena raised the most food in the nation to support the non-profit; Stamp Out Hunger. The Capital City can thank the area USPS carries for its new title. Earlier this May, they collected almost 150,000 pounds of food.
All of those goods will benefit the Helena Food Share. Nationwide, more than 70 million pounds of food were collected. Stamp Out Hunger's drive is our nation's largest one day food drive.
