Political thriller that showcases Montana premieres in Helena
A film that features Montana’s role in documenting dark money in politics is about to release for a screening in Helena. The documentary called Dark Money will premiere at the Myrna Loy in Helena on Friday.
The political thriller is set in Montana. It follows the story of former investigative reporter for the Great Falls Tribune, John Adams.
Dark Money aims to showcase Montana’s fight to keep elections fair and free of big money interest.
Director Kimberly Reed also calls the Treasure State home. The film has already received recognition from the Sundance Film Festival, Big Sky Documentary Film Festival and other notable critics.
It will play at the Myrna Loy for the next few weeks.
