The Frenchtown School District sent an email to parents Wednesday afternoon. A copy of that email is included below.

The mountain lion was spotted in the Mill Creek/Frenchtown Cemetery area and was believed to be headed north.

Some neighbors in the area said a mountain lion killed their pigs.
