Montana Tech celebrates Homecoming Oct. 7-13

Montana Tech University in Butte is celebrating Homecoming this week, October 7-13. 

Here's a list of events, provide by the school:

Sunday 10/7
  • Window Mural Painting
    Window mural painting will start in the SUB from noon until 8 pm. Windows will be assigned on a first come first serve basis and paints will be supplied. No outside material will be allowed without prior approval from either Scott Forthofer or Brandon Kanta.

Monday 10/8
  • Window Mural Painting
    Window mural painting will continue in the SUB from 8:30 am until 7:30 pm.

Tuesday 10/9
  • The murals will be judged and the student polls for most popular mural will open.
  • Bowling tournament at Star Lanes. If you are participating for club points, you need to be at Star Lanes by 6 pm to be assigned a lane. Open bowling will be available for the rest of the campus at 7 pm. This event is themed so come dressed as something from Butte's history. There will be bonus points for the best dressed club.

Wednesday 10/10
  • Race to the M Meet in the MG parking lot and 3:30 pm and the race will start at 4 pm.

Thursday 10/11
  • Butte History Trivia in the Library Auditoriumat 6 pm.

Friday 10/12
  • Pep Rally, SUB Courtyard, noon
  • Bed Races will start at 12:30 in front of the SUB
  • Alumi Recognition Banquet, 6:00 pm, reservations required 

Saturday 10/13
  • Tailgating, 10:30
  • Football vs. College of Idaho, 1:00
  • Crowning of Royalty
