11 years ago my family decided our dog Zeus need a companion. We responded to a newspaper add and drove 4 hours to look at a dog. When we got there we found this house full of all kinds of animals, pigs, dogs, chickens, rabbits and more. We were taken to the back porch where underneath was this frieghtened little black dog. He looked so sweet and innocent. He had been neglected and abused by his owners. His fur was ratty and he had barbwire stuck into his skin. We took him home right away. For over 2 years he would not come out from under the coffee table, he urinated on himself out of fear constantly. My family showed him unconditional love and trained him to trust people everyday. Finally he starting coming out and playing. He became the most lovable friend you could ever imagine. He never grew like we expected, so we took him to the vet to see why. The vets had never seen a dog of his breed. We took him to over 3 vets and no one knew what breed he was. So he was one of a kind. BooBoo was loved by everyone he came across. Sadly BooBoo got cancer and passed away in Feb of this year. He is dearly missed by everyone he ever met. I love you BooBoo.
