As of October 21st, the CMR Junior Varsity Cheerleaders have 8 new members, tripling the size of the team.
So far this year, the JV squad has only had 4 members, with the rest on Varsity.
"I'm glad we have more girls on JV now. It's nice to be a bigger squad, cause now we'll get noticed," said JV Cheerleader Christina Smith.
The 8 girls had to complete tryouts on October 20th, and had their first performance at the crosstown game on Halloween night.
