The latest edition to our flock is Bella, a Congo African Grey. She is 6 months old and just starting to try her voice out. By the time she is one she will start to be able to mimic our voices and any other noises that interest her.
African Greys are probably the best talkers in the Parrot family, Some having a vocabulary of over 500 words. Their love of mimicking things is not unique to captivity, Wild Greys have been heard mimicking chain-saws and other animals of the Congo.
