In 1966 I special ordered a new black SS 396 chevelle with a 375 horse engine, a 4 speed and a 4.11 positraction real end. My wife wanted blue and i wanted black. So we got it black with blue bucket seats. it was really pretty. I drag raced it a few years, then traded it off and it wound up in Hawaii. It was my last brand new car. I wound up being sorry for trading it off. I started looking for one simular to it, but cound not find one. I finally settled for a 69 camaro that was black and had the same running gear as the chevelle. Then this chevelle came along and I had trouble finding the money to buy it. It cost me 5 times what the new one was. This one has a 425 horse, 427 and black bucket seats. A friend painted it for me and it fullfills a loss. Now I'm happy again.
