You probably can't tell it from the picture, but these two animals really don't like each other! They have just learned to co-exist!
Bullet(Silver Bullet) is the cat and Rusty is the dog. When I got Bullet, he was just a small round fluff ball. I thought about naming him Cannon because he was so round! But when I got him home and around the dog(and husband!), he could really move. Since I worked for a Coors distributor at the time, I decided that Silver Bullet or Bullet for short would be more appropiate.
Rusty, the Red Heeler-German Shepherd cross, got his name because he is a reddish color and our previous dog was called Dusty. It was a mistake to call him Rusty, because it took a long time for me to not call him Dusty! Similar names, you know.
They are both now over 14 years old and Bullet still lives up to his name and Rusty can still try to catch him!
