Kindness...

In troubled times of days, the holidays fast upon us...it seems we all carry the questionable stresses with us. As well as it is, the moments of joy and random acts of kindness are alive to touch us, remind us of our true humanity to each other. The news unveils job losses, but what about one of an actual compassionate employer. A newcomer to the community...

Our family would like to thank the new sandwich shop, Jimmy Johns, for the kindness they have shown, when a medical emergency for my son happened on December 18th. Worried the incident may cost him a good job, the complete opposite happened at our front door when they appeared. Being a new business, they barely knew him, yet they went above the bar to extend their hearts and meant wishes. What employer holds such compassion these days? Most are cynical, or suspicious when a day is missed at work. Jimmy John's reflects a spirit of true empathy, human value and concern in which other employers would do well to emulate.

It is from our hearts, we thank Dan, Todd and the whole crew for touching our lives in a moment of crisis...proving to me the beauty of human connection. Jimmy John's...welcome to our community...please stay.
